The Globe Inn is a traditional Pub. We offer great food, beer & service. We have Sky TV inside, outside & upstairs. Dogs on a lead are welcome and well trained children up to 9.30pm!! We have a function room upstairs availabe for all occaisions seating upto 50 people. We offer bar meals & a specials board with fresh fish, local meats & plenty of options for vegetarians and children can opt for an adult meal in a smaller size. We are open all day every day offering foor from 12-3pm and again at 6-9pm, sunday lunch 12-3 only and the kitchen closes monday to give the chef a well deserved rest!! however we do open the kitchen for bank holidays for lunch. Our beer tarrace is a real sun trap with views of St Cuthberts Chuch. The smoking shelter is well catered for with Sky TV bar stools & Retro Smoking signs, which is heated in the winter months. The pub has flagstone floors & an open fire and has been maintained as a Traditional Pub - not a Panini insight!! Dont just take our word for it come along and see for yourselves!!
